KEY MOMENTS
Joey got to race a kart in the rain for the first time
Despite missing the podium in individual races, Joey secured an overall P3 finish in the championship
“Getting back in a kart was a ton of fun. This 3 race series was a perfect training ground for the off-season. After a year away from karting, my pace was still there along with my competitive spirit. Karting is certainly the purest form of motorsport.”
POST RACE
A Return to Karting
Following the end of the Spec Miata season in October I had a 3 month break with no racing. To stay fit in the off-season I decided to jump into the Tri-C Chill Challenge, excited to reunite with my kart that had been gathering dust for a year. I was ready to drive my kart again and it was a perfect reunion.
